About Me

Hi, I'm Joe Blatherwick

I moved to Devon about fourteen years ago and I'm a proud dad of a little person and a lucky husband. I love living in this part of the country and I'm a big fan of the outdoors, getting amongst it whenever I can on long walks or on a bike. The Southwest has such a beautiful and varied landscape with all the forests, farmland, beaches and moors I couldn't see myself anywhere else.

My other passion is photography (obviously) and I have always enjoyed taking photographs, documenting my travels and adventures around the UK and further afield. Over the years my style has evolved into more of a candid, documentary-style where I love to tell a story through my pictures, genuine photography that captures the fleeting moments that are gone in the blink of an eye. Being able to capture a moment and have it there as a physical image to be enjoyed over and over in years to come is a truly wonderful thing.
